Hermes Silk Scarfs

Crafted in 100% silk twill, the scarf features Hermès’ signature hand-rolled hem and the deep, luminous color that silk twill is known for. The base is a rich Bleu Saphir / Royal Navy that makes all the details pop. The design, created by artist Virginie Jamin, takes the classic “Brides de Gala” horse bridle and turns it into an edgy, layered artwork. At the center is a majestic horse head in profile, rendered in crisp white, silver-gray, and icy blue tones. Instead of traditional leather bridles, this horse is adorned with an elaborate “armor” of chains, buckles, spikes, bits, and harnesses — all drawn with incredibly fine linework and shading. The chains cascade down the body, with different styles of links, studs, and equestrian hardware creating texture and movement. You can spot subtle Hermès details like the “H” motifs woven into the chains. The horse’s eye is a striking bright blue, and words like “PARIS” appear on the bridle, anchoring it to the house. It’s bold, graphic, and architectural while still feeling luxurious.
